Robert Paul Cohen was born in Smithtown, New York, received a Bachelor's of Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University and, while working as a creative director and copywriter for advertising agencies in NYC, took night classes at The International Center of Photography.
Robert is passionate about editorial/documentary photograpy but is almost as excited by reading and writing fiction, nerding out overMixed Martial Arts, and eating Pizza at Little Vincent's in Ronkonkoma Long Island (when vacinity allows).
Selects from Robert's series, "The Twins of Igbo Ora," have been chosen to be included in the 2020 Communication Arts Photography Annual.
Robert has lived in NYC, LA, Vietnam, and Indonesia. He is currently living/working in San Francisco, California.
